Audio Level Meter not working in CS6 during RAM preview

I just upgraded to CS6 and now my audio meter window isn't working at all. I've got audio, just no lights in the levels meter during RAM preview.
It does, however, give a quick blink at it's current level every time I stop the RAM preview.

Is this a glitch? Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, they all seem only relevant to not hearing audio. I'm having no trouble with hearing or manipulating audio, except that it isn't making the meter move.

Is there an audio preference that may be corrupt that I could trash? Perhaps I should just make a backup of my prefs and try deleting the pref file?
