I am trying to open an r3D file with adobe cs5. Version 10.0.1 it's only 62mb and is Scarlet. I keep getting the error that its an unsupported file.

So I was searching on here to figure out if i needed to download any plugins or anything and all I found was this website.

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/redepic_importer.html

however this site only has cs6 and cs5.5 plugins

There must be something I am missing and if anyone can help me figure out how to get this imported that would be very very helpful.

I read that earlier and didn't find anything helpful. I have found a workaround for now but I also would like to find out why I can't just directly import. I'm going to call RED tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Without disheartening you, I believe Adobe CS6 is the only program that can handle the Scarlet's .R3D files. We just finished a project on the RED ONE on CS5 and everything worked great. THen suddenly, we buy our scarlet and we have to upgrade. CS6 does handle it.
