How do I hide the backside of my 3D layers?

I am creating an animation of a book opening and flipping pages. How do I keep the back side of my page layers from showing up after they are flipped over in after effects?

Make a blank page for the back side with a new layer. Position it properly and parent it to the original page.

I figured that but I thought there might be an easier way, like changing a setting or something. Thanks

Can you use the CC Page Turn effect? If you use that you can set your what you want for the back page.
