Cool effect for showing a video clip within an animation

I'm feeling like I'm lacking inspiration at the moment...

..I want to show a video clip within an animation. The screen will be white with slight vignette on the corners. The video will be placed in the middle with illustrations surrounding it.

I don't want to just plonk it there as it'll look crap, but also don't really want to go with putting it in a TV screen or anything.

Any ideas welcome

I usually create an unoriented camera and put a wiggle on its position, like (.8,15). then give your illustrations some depth. Turn on DOF, perhaps add some lights (depending on the look you're going for). Can try to give you more tips if you describe it some more.
