After Effects CS6 - 2 problems

Hi everyone

I'm suffering with 2 problems since my upgrade from CS5.

1. I get the Error 5070 on Start up even though I have a Quadro 4000, I've been on the Adobe forum but none of the advised actions have solved the problem, is anyone else still getting this since the 11.01 update?





2. I thought I'd put a project through CS6 to see how the render times might change. The project rendered in CS5 took around 45mins. However in CS6 this has increased to nearly 3 hours!
The project consists of mainly motion graphics, a few referenced .MXF files in 3D space, a tint bit of Trapcode 3D stroke and a Dynamic Link to Premiere.



here's my set up...

Mac Pro 3,1 (2x 2.8GHZ)
20GB RAM
OS 10.7.4
NVIDIA GeForce GT8800
NVIDIA Quadro 4000 both on GPU Driver 207.00.00.f06
CUDA Driver 4.2.10

As for the slow render

Files are on a 2TB (7200rpm)
Rendering to a 1TB (7200rpm)
60GB SSD Cache

Any help would be gratefully received.

Success

Due to desperate measures to resolve the problem.

I freshly installed Lion, NVIDIA, CUDA and CS6 onto a new SSD.
This got rid of the 5070 Error and enables me to use Ray Tracing.

When I get some downtime I'll use Carbon copy to clone my old drive but without and Adobe or NVIDA files to see if that makes a difference.

Yes all NVDIA drivers are up to date - I've even tried rolling back and trying some previous versions as well but to no avail.

Yes Multiprocessing of Frames simultaneously is set to ON as it was in CS5, in fact I've just copied the stable settings I used in CS5 to CS6 - which is why I'm puzzled to the slow render times.

Yes I have the latest CUDA driver as well as the latest driver for my card.
I have tried a couple of previous forms of the driver as well.

Any other suggestions would be great
