| MP4 Export for Safari 5.1.5
• | | | |
Hello all,
I am having an issue exporting from AE to MP4's for Safari 5.1.5 running under OS X Lion. The videos no longer play. As far as I can determine, this is only an issue under Lion. Of course, this is the browser the client uses. I have tried all variations of exporting from AE, direct from QT 7 etc to no avail. It seems like there must be a flag to set somewhere that will work. Any pointers greatly appreciated as I have been pulling my hair out and other sites on the web haven't been any help.

Which version of AE? And try using AME instead of AE.

Have you tried using AME instead of AE to export/render your H264? FWIW, choose the H264 format instead of Quicktime>MP4. You can import/add an AEP into AME whereby upon import, you will be allowed to choose a composition to render, all from AME, without having to open AE. The advantage AME has over AE is its -pass VBR encoding.
