hello

I wanted to make Particle (particular) in order to i have falling CALYCLE ( like red rose)

i made a 3d CALYCLE in after by effect:digieffects free form
( i wanted to use a 3d calycle photoshop but i did not find it)

by useing particular and such setting as

particle type: Sprite and its layer: my composition ( 3d calycle)

because i wanted my particles fall around my character i had to set
obscuration layer: my character' layer (choromaki)

now i want to help me
1- did i go process true?
2- i have a problem. 3d calycle layer, crosses my character' layer
3- can you introduce a tutorial about this
3- can you get me (or introduce) a 3d calycle PSD or 3ds that i can import it to AE insteat of useing free form

please see my clip to understand my project & problem better
http://www.4shared.com/video/KoEtYQzB/3d_rose.html
(i only placed a gray solid instead of my character. at first second 3d calycle crosses solid layer and then vanish)

he obscuration layer is more of a convenience - but is not the best solution in all cases.

In YOUR case, use TWO separate layers of Particular, one for front and one for back.
