Final Cut Pro 7 - Log and Transfer is Missing P2 Plug In

I have used final cut pro 7 to successfully offload my HPX170 P2 cards for 3 years.

Yesterday, I shot with that camera for the first time in 6 months. When I went to Log and Transfer my footage, I discovered that the P2 cards were not recognized by FCP 7 and that the P2 Plug In - normally found in Preferences in Log and Transfer - was gone.

I have not updated my operating system and the P2 cards load on my mac - I can see them on the desktop.

Does anyone have any idea of how to get that P2 Plug In to reappear? I have been searching the internet all day - even called Panasonic and Apple - and I am stumped.

Yes - The raw media (i.e. the entire P2 card file structures) has been backed up on 2 separate drives.
