Copying "E" Series P2 cards onto a MacPro

Currently we are taking our camera setting it on the desk and hooking it up to the MacPro via USB and copying files to the HD from the P2 cards.
This can be pretty cumbersome and I'm looking for a better way without lugging in the camera with all the gear attached.
I don't want to buy a $3,200.00 P2 store.
What are the alternatives?
Thank you in advance.

I really like my PCD-35 5 card reader. It attaches to a Mac Pro via a PCIe card and is blazing fast. Might be overkill if you're not transferring a lot of cards at one time, though, but if you are, it's hard to beat.
