HVX 200, Over saturated reds
by Jay Corey on May 7, 2008 at 12:45:20 am

I just started shooting with an HVX200. I put it to use immediately on an ongoing project being shot on miniDV. As of yet, I have not started using the p2 card but look forward to experimenting with the expansive options that it provides. To my question. I am shooting progressive. On my field monitor and edit suite reference monitor play from the timeline, the image is incredible but when I burn projects to DVD I am encountering reds, especially in skin tones, that are over saturated. Any advice?

Might help to know what you are monitoring on and how you are compressing
