Hello,

My company is building a new building in a nearby city, and they want a time lapse of the construction. It will happen over one year, and I have to mount the camera to a telephone poll across the street.

What would be the best Camera? It has to be waterproof/coldproof as we do have some hard winters.

Also, what sort of mount would I need to mount it to a telephone pole?

Any help would be great, I need to make the purchase ASAP.

Arden

You need to look into security cameras. Get a decent camera and a good DVR with a large (or replaceable) hard drive.

Price is very dependent on image quality for the camera.

They make special boxes just for this so you can lock your camera in it. You should take a look at those.
