sRGB or AdobeRGB?
what colour space should i set my camera to use for outdoor light? anyone?

Adobe RGB has a slightly larger color gamut, so that's the one I'd use, especially if you're processing with Photoshop later.
If you're shooting RAW instead of JPG, it doesn't really matter which you choose because RAW will capture more colors than either color space.
