adding copyright data to pics

Hi I have a few thousand images I need to add copyright meta data to. They are all in iphoto on a mac. Aperture adds the data ok but then crashes when I try to export. Cant handle the amount of images. Is there a simple way to batch process a load of images in any other software/ code.

Wilko,

This sounds like a Adobe Bridge function that would be easily batch processed to all your images.
