Hi,
Can you recommend a camera I can use for an animation stand. I need a camera to capture a series (jpeg series hopefully) of still frames and one where I can also control the exposure. The current camera is auto-exposure and I get too much texture of the paper, I want to be able to overexpose a bit to just capture the blackest line from the drawing. Any suggestions?

It's depend on your budget, but I would look into Canon 5D through 1D mark III. 5D has full frame so depend on your project it may or may not matter to you.
Nikon also has good Pro line digital camrera.

I have a NIKON D200 that does excellent work. Haven't used it for animation but does a great job of time lapse and stills. Fully controllable. Pricey but well worth it.
