Creating text over and image in a table

I'm trying to write a menu over an image which is in a table, but i don't know where to insert the text in the code. Is there anyway to lay a table over another table?

Just place your image as a background image, then write your text on the table cell.

How to do that? It will depend on your images, you may want to create a single image for each table cell or a complete image for your table.

Use a CSS rule to define your image as a background.
