You shouldn't use Flash buttons (that's my suggestion, anyway).

Those were supported in older versions of Dreamweaver and were an easy way to create cool rollovers. But navigation trough Flash is not recommended in modern standards, unless you have a Flash site.

As an option for rollovers you can use CSS. But if you really want the Flash button you can paste a link to your site for us to take a closer look.

Pasting the URL. Whatever you write on your browser to go to your page.

Ok. You don't have your site on line. That's a link to your local disc.

Please do your best to explain better your problem and paste the code of your page.

My homework says the links must work properly. Problem is the flash botton is not working. I tried to link botton to another page by highlighting it then clicking on the circle botton in bottom control panel and then a arrow came, then i moved to arrow to the second page in the right files panel. However, it only works if you for highlighting text, it does not work for the botton.

That's not how Flash buttons work. However, that's the way to do it with text and images.

If my memory don't fail (are you using Dreamweaver MX?), you select the target of the link when you create the Flash button, not later.

Anyway, you shouldn't use a Flash button. If your teacher tells you MUST use a Flash button, I recommend you to find another school (I'm kidding, if you really want to learn how this stuff work, you don't need a school. By the time you graduate all knowledge will be outdated).
