Mailto: function is not working correctly (Fernando)
by Martin Jordan on Jul 1, 2009 at 2:08:07 pm

Hey Fernando,

You helped me the other day on another issue thought you might be able to help me on this one.

On this site, on the Contact Us page, I type an email address and then assign the mailto: + address in the Link box in the properties pallet as always.

But what's happening is as soon as I do this the email address turns a very light grey color. And, I can't even assign a new color to it. I've checked my Pref's and don't see anything there.

The 1st image I've attached shows what happens when I assign the mailto: cmd and the 2nd one shows before I do that. I've also provided a link to that online page.

Any ideas?

You defined that color for your links in the CSS.

a:link {
color: #CCCCCC;
text-decoration: none;
}

If you sant a different color there, create a new rule.

Thanks Fernando.

I looked all over for that and couldn't find it. After you pointed that out to me I went to code view, found the color assignment and manually changed it.

thx again.
