Does Contribute only work with Dreamweaver?

I'm still working with GoLive. Tried to download co-author, but not available anymore, because they want us to change to Dreamweaver. Can we co-author a GoLive site with Contribute or does it only work with a Dreaweaver site. Are there any other/better programs for co-authoring?
