I have MX 2004 (only good enough to build basic pages) and have read the directions, but they are clear on how to add a sound file....but...... I can add the file, but it plays on a different page and there is nothing to tell my customer to "go Back"
Is there code or a function in DW that will alow me to link to my sound file, so people can play it, while it is on the same page as the link? Can they even pause or play it again?

In DW CS3 you would use Insert > Media > ActiveX then in the properties pane you would click the embed checkbox and put the URL of the audio clip in the Src field.

right now .mp3 files, although i would love to have swf or flash files. I want better quality with the smallest file size. i asked a question in the flash forum on how to convert to swf, but I have had not response yet. I have Flash MX and can't load a sound file let alone export one. I have a old copy of adobe audition 1.x and it can't export them as well.
