Link to downlaod rather than open

I apologoze if this is a ridiculous question. (I'm a video guy not a web guy)

How can I create a link that will download the linked file, in this case a .wmv, rather than open it?

Any help is appreciated.

You could tell visitors to right-click on the file name and choose "Save Target As.." or "Save Link As..." I'm not sure if there's another way
