Action Scrip Photo slideshow
by Nicholas Venturella on Nov 3, 2009 at 1:58:38 am

I am trying to create a simple actionscript flash slideshow of some photography work. All I need the video to do is to stop on the first frame and with a controller of some kind advance the movie to the next picture or backward to the previous one. Every time I think i get the code right i keep getting error messages.

I have no idea where to start. I have watched several tutorial videos about actionscripting but i still dont know where to start.

Can anyone help with my dilema.

i'll assume you mean in your SWF, and not an FLV when you say 'video'

in which case nextFrame(); and prevFrame(); works well to advance 1 frame or go 1 frame backward in a timeline
