HD project in Final cut is 16 x 9, but Flash is 4 x 3
by Mike Pell on Sep 8, 2008 at 4:21:36 am

My original project was edited in Final Cut and is HDV 16 x 9 in aspect ratio but when I convert it to Flash in Adobe Flash CS3, the flash is 4 x 3, Anyone know how to correct this so the Flash video is 16 x 9 like the original edited version in FC? Thanks

When importing the video to the stage, you should be presented with a window that has multiple tabs, the first one reads "Encoding profiles". You'll need to go to the last one ("Crop and Resize"), check Resize Video and then Maintain Aspect Ratio.

That should do the trick.

Kind regards,
Pieter
