green screen removal
by Art White on Aug 15, 2008 at 6:21:09 pm

I have a short clip of a subject shot infront of a green screen. How do I remove the green screen and make the background transparent in Flash CS3?
Thank You
Art

You don't... You remove it in either Premiere or After Effects (or whichever editing software you prefer) and then you import the alpha video into Flash (On2 codec, alpha channel)

Kind regards,
Pieter

General notice: from now on, I would like to ask everyone to put [AS2] or [AS3] (corresponding to the version of actionscript you are using on your project) in front of their post titles when the question is actionscript related! Please help us help you faster. Thank you.
