HD cameras and flv files

A basic question for all of you: when producing flash videos to be embedded in streaming eLearning content, is it better to shoot with an HD camera, or will an SD camera yield similar quality?
Normally one might think that HD would make no difference in a low-resolution flash playback. But I suspect that the increased pixel depth that HD provides might make a difference in the final product.

I honestly wouldn't bother with HD. With streaming content, file size will be your main concern. Also, whereas you or I (both working with professional video) could tell the difference, I suspect the end user wouldn't "know HD if it sat on their lap and called them Papa" (to quote the commercial). Finally, unless you're working with Sorenson Spark Pro to create the FLV, your video probably won't benefit from using HD.
But, if you have the equipment, run a 30 second or 1 minute test with each and compare the resultant FLVs. Then let us know!
