swap symbol and inherit properties

Hi,

Is it possible to swap smbol so that the swaped in symbols conserves rotation, x and y value, and scale of the previous one? If the answer is yes, how do i do that?

oh actually they are not symbols like mc or graphics, just bitmaps i imported in library.

Select your bitmap. In your properties window, there should be a button labelled 'Swap...' Click that and you'll be able to swap it out for any other bitmap/symbol in your library.
