Stopping sound in FLV file after 90 seconds??
by Lucy Gage on Apr 30, 2008 at 8:29:25 pm

Hi,

I need to create a player in flash that plays a video in FLV format, but I need the sound to stop after 90 seconds.

The idea being that when the person creates an account they can then view the whole video without the sound cutting out.

I'm not entirely sure how to go about this and need to get back to a client asap.

Can anyone help me out - it'd be greatly appreciated,

Thanks
Lucy

Have you tried just adding a stop action to the sound at the 90 second mark?

I'm not sure if that would work for what I need, because I need this to apply to different films that feed through the one player.
They aren't neccesarily in the flash project themselves.

I could be wrong and maybe I need to get the videos off the client and do it the way you've mentioned, but I was told to try and do it just through the player

Thanks for your help - i'll look into it all a bit more.
