H.264 Files

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

How do H.264 files need to be created to play in a Flash Player? They look really good but I have to re-encode them for Flash to recognize them.

Thank you,

If you are using the NetStream method you don't have to do anything. It will play the mov. If you are using FLV Playback Components, you just trick them by changing the extension of the video from mov to flv.

You can even do this in Flash 8, as long as your Flash Player is 9.0.115 or higher.

Note: It you wont see it in Publish Preview unless your stand alone player is overwritten with the new version.
