How to "The H264 support"

So- we have a final Flash Player capable of playing back H264 but I can't get Flash CS3 to actually import any to a project.
I read that V9.0.2 adds this support so i downloaded the update- however after applying the patch in the Flash application it still reports V 9.0 not 9.0.2.
Is it a case that my update hasn't actually worked or it did work and I don't know how to use H264 in the project?
Anyone done it yet?
