Editing index.html file in Flash CS3
by Jon Simmons on Jul 27, 2007 at 7:02:16 pm

I've recently updated to Flash CS3 and, as a new flash user conscripted to update my wife's site, I'm having problems with what seems to be a minor issue.
When I publish and upload the .swf and index files to the site, I want to change the "title heading".
When I open the index.html file (the one "published" out of CS3) in any text editing program it's empty. When I open the site in a browser and view page source I see the text I need to edit, but of course can't edit it there. I tried copy/pasting and re-uploading a new index file but then when I went to the site I just got the index code.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
jon

Hi,
you have to open the html file with Dreamweaver.
There, you'll see the titling that you can change. Save the file, upload it back on ur server and voila...

Ciao,

Federico
