FCP to FLV
by treyfh on Jul 24, 2007 at 11:42:53 pm

I'm looking for some good specs to adhere to for exporting a file out of FCP for encoding to FLV in Sorenson Squeeze. I've been lead in so many directions... motion jpeg, photo jpeg, QT, delinterlaced... what frame rate, FPS, on and on.

Essentially, what's the best file format, with detailed specs, to export from FCP for FLV encoding. I'm encoding at 200k and 500k.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

No one has responded so here's what I'd do. I'd export it in .mov. Motion JPEG or Animation codec if you'd like. Then I'd just use the Flash 8 (in my case) .flv encoder and squeeze it down from there. I've heard the OnVP6 or whatever codec is good too.

Hope that helps.
