How can I add a custom preloader to an FLV?

I need to add a custom preloader to an FLV using the flash8 media playback component.

I have found numerous tutorials for adding preloaders to swfs but I need to add one to an FLV? Is this possible? How can I achieve this?

I too have been looking for some answers on this witout any success as yet.
Can anyone ofeer some help on this??
