Hi there
Basically Ive got this page here http://www.danhaskett.co.uk/redrabbit at the moment it is just a jpeg, but thats how its gonna look. Now the red square on the right is where the video is gonna play. Whats the best way to have a video playing in there? Id quite like it to have nice simple controls which I guess have to be done in Flash? What is the easiest way of doing this, and would I then somehow embed it into Dreamweaver?

If you are using Dreamweaver 8 follow this:
1) place the cursor where you want the flv player to be embedded.
2) click on Insert menu and choose Media and then Flash Video option from the pop up menu.
3) from the resulting dialog box choose the type of video either progressive or streaming. In the url field give the url of the flv video file or use the browse button. Similarly all the other options are self explanatory and choose according to your needs.
4) at the end click OK, and the source code will be generated along with some other .swf files
5) test your file.
Note: the source can be from database, but requires that how much control you have on the Dreamweaver
