can I get by with Win 2000 OS using Flash 8 pro?

One of our machines is a Win 2000 Professional Pentium 3, cAn I get by with this for Flash 8 Professional, or MUST I upgrade this one as well?

Win2k will run Flash 8 just fine. That's what my laptop has and I use it all the time. The beta of Flash 9 requires XP, but I'm not sure if the final will or not, but your P3 processor might be a bit slow if you do a lot of the heavy rendering stuff (filters, blend modes, etc.)
