Flash and Photoshop Help
by Tilden on Nov 9, 2005 at 12:06:09 am

I'm new to Flash and I'm looking for some advice. This would be my first website built in flash. Can someone give me some pointers (books or examples) for the best approach step by step of making the website in photoshop and transfering it in flash. Remember I'm new to flash go easy.

Thanks

Tilden

If you wanted to design it in Photoshop you would export the individual graphics as transparent PNG files. You can do that by choosing the "Save for the Web" export option in Photoshop. Once you have your PNG files you will then want to import these graphics into Flash. From there you can turn the imported graphics into MovieClips if you need to animate them.

This is a simplied workflow but it is the standard way of working between Flash and Photoshop.
