Snaps back when I try to distort... Help!
by B Russ (BRussell) on Oct 19, 2005 at 5:05:22 pm

Hi there. Newbie. Trying to distort an object. Darn it, I'm ctrl-clicking corners of my object to distort it. It distorts.... until I let go of the mouse button when it snaps back. What am I doing wrong? Thank you, somebody!!

What type of object are you trying to distort. It will only work when working with certain objects. To distort things, go all the way down to the basic shape level and do it there. So if you have a movieclip of a shape, then double-click it to get to the shape and then distort.
