movie is slowing down
by Andrei Lutic on Aug 30, 2005 at 5:13:57 am

Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I'm trying to build an all flash web site. I made graphic symbols from the content of the pages (some text + one png on every page). These are containted in movie clips that contains the fly out and fly in of the pages with an alpha change also. The movies have instances on different layers stacked on top of eachother. The problem is that after the first page changes the fly in/ fly out move is starting to slow down.. it looks as if the cpu would be overloaded and I don't see why because initially it's going very well. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

It would help if there was a link to see it.

Without seeing it I would ask 'how much text is on each page? I've noticed that Flash slows down alot when fading alpha channels on a lot of text.

Other questions are:
Also are these transitions happening simutaniously?
Are all of these movie clips existing in the same frame?'
