Adding Instances add file size??

If I have 50 images in a timeline to form an animation and each image is 4k...

then the file would then be 200kb.

If I then add 8 Movie Clips using the same 50 images flipped and skewed, but still the same source files...and then have each of the 8mcs export on the first frame for actionscripting, would the file size of the swf increase?
