hi there,
I was just wondering, is there anyway to only see the document size when you TEST a movie? By this I mean, if you have an 800x200 document, then you have images and stuff coming in from the sides, however when you test the movie there is just the whole white background, so you cant really tell what its gonna look like...surely there must be a way of doing this? I hope that makes sense....?

The only way to test it like that is to test it in the browser instead. I believe if you hit F12 it will test in the browser.

Greetings Dan,
When testing your SWF, hit the minimize button at the top right hand corner. This brings down to the size of the stage.
Also.. if you have backgrounds and such covering your stage, you could add a new layer right click on it and select "guide" layer. Draw a box slightly larger than your stage with NO fill. The guide layer shows up in working environment, but not on your swf. This might help position flash objects when your working in the fla.
