The only way is to export it as a PNG sequence and then import to Flash. In a couple of months however, when Flash 8 comes out, you will be able to import video with alpha channels.

Will there be any increased 3D capability when flash 8 comes out?

and/or are any other companies about to move the Flash 3D area on?

thanks

I don't think there will be any 3D support inside of Flash. There are however a bunch of 3D actionscript libraries out there. Currently 3ds Max, Maya, and Swift 3D can all export to SWF. Swift 3D can actually export a special Flash import file that has layers for lights, objects, etc.

Check out http://www.thomasglyn.com/ for great 3D flash stuff.

That's very clever. I like the photo work. How is he getting the photos to work like that?

Is it cleverly simple or simply very complicated!?

Also, as the photos appear the pixels seem to quiver slightly before settling down, is that an artifact with loading times or an artistic effect? I like it anyway!

thanks
