recommend some Flash books please

Clearly laid at least, the Lynda H_O_T book looks good, if a bit boring in it's examples...

The bible has been mentioned here, that seems pretty good, I may get that.

Anything with a bit of flair and the most up-to-date info on video stuff would be good, or some older books with some nifty bits!

thanks

Rene

Did you want a book, or do you want training videos?

I highly recomend any books by Colin Mook. The lastest one, 'AS 2.0' talks techincal about learning and programming with the OOP methods.

Also.. I would recomend any books by Rob Rhinehardt, like 'Flash MX Actionscript'. He's another guy that knows way to much AS. :)

I second Colin Moock's book as well. Flash Hacks is a great book for all those little annoyances about Flash. Also buying the official Macromedia Actionscript Dictionary is a wise move as well.

Oh yeah.. The Actionscript Dictionary is available on the web in PDF format. I would highly recommend that too, as a way to get aquatinted with the various built in classes.
