Pre-loading external FLV file with the preloader

Hi Guys,

Just like to check, how can i create a pre loader for the external flv file.
what I mean is that I want to load say around 60% of the external flv file into memory or cache and then start playing. may be with nice prelaoder If any tutorial please guide me.

can i do that?

any help will be appreciated.

If you want to preload a certain amount then you could use the ns.setBufferTime() method. How ever many seconds you specify, it will wait until then to play. So if you wanted 20 seconds to load first then you would say...

ns.setBufferTime(20);
