Cinema 4D animation to AE

Hello there! This is my first post and I am really happy for joining the COW community. I need some help working in cinema 4d and after effects for a project. Is it possible to export an animation from Cinema 4D with reflections (global illumination etc) and then edit this animation in AE with extra lighting without losing the ability of the animation's objects to catch those extra new shadows and reflections?
If yes, could you please tell me the export settings that I should use?
