I'm baking out textures for some simple objects (extruded logos), by doing Object > Bake Object, with size of 2048 and AO and Illumination on, and I'm getting lots of bad artifacting.

If I just render out the frame in Cinema, it looks great, but the baked textured looks really bad.
My AO settings are pretty high, 60% accuracy, min 64 max 256.

The resulting AO tif is very jaggedy and artifact-y.

Anything I should be looking at? I can post a pic if needed

it should work without problems unless something is unusual about the setup.
