Can't render simple shapes
by Brian Thuok on Nov 6, 2009 at 8:47:28 am

Forgive me, I'm a brand new Cinema 4D user. I'm trying to render out a simple blobish shape. It's just a sphere with HYPERNURBS and METABALL properties applied. But when I render to a TIFF sequence, only the sphere ends up rendering. Do I have to activate something for the extra properties to work? It's probably something simple and stupid. If anybody can help please let me know! Thanks in advance.

You have a sphere inside of a metaball inside of a Hyper nurbs? If so you should lose the HN object. The metaball has two density settings -- one for editor display and one for render. The HN has the same thing, so you're probably just seeing the difference between the lower resolution editor topology and the higher resolution render topology.
