Dynamic Pendulum

I have a keyring, with a key swinging whith the help of dynamics(fig 1) The key moves correctly, gravity makes it swing forth and back til it stops naturally (fig 2) But if I move the keyring(blue) on (fig 3), the key doesnt swing, it just hangs stiff and straight down.
