Attaching two objects together.

I'm following this tutorial:
http://www.escalight.com/tutorials/3dsmax-tutorials/dog-modeling-tutorial-p...
But i'm using cinema 4d and I'm stuck on section 9 where I need to jin the two objects (head and body) together.
Also stuck on section 4 but i thats not essential.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

For 9.. there is a Bridge Tool in C4D that does the same thing
