Fog on Cinema 4D
by stephan deloustal on Oct 28, 2009 at 5:49:09 pm

I'm trying to create fog (more like dust) around a futuristic looking city using Cinema 4d v9.5.
How can I proceed? Are there any tutorials showing me how to do it?

Thank you

Probably the best way would be to use a spot light with volumetric light. Put the light below the city, shining straight up, and exclude the ground from the light. Err, I can't actually remember if there was light exclusion in 9.5, come to think of it.

Another way would be to place a squashed sphere over the city and give the sphere a material with the fog channel active.

Pyrocluster would be another option.
