Announcing the Walk Designer for Cinema 4d
by Jannis Labelle on Oct 25, 2009 at 9:56:31 pm

Hi Everyone, I am announcing my Walk Designer tool for Cinema 4d to the community. It a procudural generator of walkcycles and a fully animatable Ik rig. It is intended to help you generate any type of walk cycle from realistic kinds to cartoony, and comes with several precets that give you a starting point to begin designing your own animations.

Together with the Motion system and the retargetring system in Cinema you can produce any number of libraries and for those who use Motionbuilder you can export your motion there and furter enhance, edit your cycles.

I have uploaded several videos on U Tube that show the functionality of the tool and will be over the next weeks showing more. The tool is still in development, as you will see there are changes in the look of the rig even from video to video.

Thanks for stopping by, here are the videos

That looks very nice, Jannis. Is it something your selling? If so you might want to tell people how they can buy it. ;)

Hi Adam, Thanks.

Yes it is something I will be selling but at the moment I am still developing it. It will come with some other helpers for doing the job so I don't have a deffinate idea about price and release date, but what I can say is that it will be inexpensive. I thought I will let people know about it early on so that those interested can be part of the development.

Dave

I will be letting everyone know when it is ready. Thanks
