Newbie Mograph Question
by ben rollason on Jul 3, 2009 at 10:32:26 am

I have a cube whose scale coordinates are animating. I want to clone this with a Mograph cloner object. That's fine, but when I clone it, the animation no longer...animates.

How do I get the Mograph cloner to notice the animating scale property?

Sorry for the newbie question... I've been looking through the mograph tutorials, but can't find an answer.

Unchecking the "Fix Clone" box in the cloner should take care of it.

It's easy when you know how!

Thanks Adam.

Hi,

I think it's just a limitation of mo graph.. I don't know why.

But to achieve the effect you want, click your cloner object and then choose MoGraph/Plain Effector.

Then go to 'parameter' and alter the 'scale'.

If nothing happens check that your plain effector shows up in your Cloner's effector tab. If not drag it in.

By the way - 'plain effector' just effects every object the same.

John
