Problems with sparkling water
by Jens Tellmann on Jul 3, 2009 at 12:23:13 am

actually it's not sparkling water - it's bitter lemon.

I have a whole bunch of problems right now:

1. I am trying to find te right texture for the liquid.
right now i came up with the solution of a fog texture which provides the kind of increasing opacity i need, the problem is, that it seems to be light-independent.
Even if i turn of all lights in the scene, i will still be able to see/render the liquid.

2. I used TP for the bubbles, but for some reason the bubbles won't stay inside the volume, although I tried my very best and the corresponing XPRESSO nodes to keep them "locked in" - to put it that way.

3. I used parts of the inner polygons of the bottle to build the liquid and elargened it slightly.
But now, for some reason the glass texture of the bottle behaves oddly.

There are no dark parts in the refractions anymore.

It just looks strange (see attachment)

Any Ideas?
